Thermography

With a thermographic investigation, hotspots in your installation become visible. These can be an indication of (oncoming) problems, caused by faulty wiring, connections or conductions, which cause your business continuity to be jeopardised. 

Inspection with thermography offers many (additional) possibilities and is often an added value to the inspections that we offer. In many cases an individual inspection or regular measurement isn’t sufficient to provide clarity. For that reason we also make use of thermography: a measurement method which exposes unwanted developments in temperature. It is a technology that is of great added value to our inspections. By using an infrared camera we can, for example, establish whether or not electrical components produce more heat than usual. This observation cannot be made with traditional measurements.

Themorgraphical recordings can show a possible risk on time, even before there is a hazardous situation or failure of machines. Thermographical investigation is, among other things, a standard part of a NEN3140 inspection.

Thermography is, according to many people, related to a technical installation. Thermography is, however, applicable in several domains. Think of control panels and boards, leakages, thermal bridges and heat losses. These are all examples that can be located perfectly with infrared footage.
